October 5, in the Organ hall of the Husain Akhmetov Bashkir state philharmonic the musical and art project "Sand Imagination" has taken place. The honored actress of RB Elvira Hayrutdinova (organ) and the artist of sand animation Ekaterina Korol have participated in a concert.

It is remarkable that this project which already managed to be fallen in love to the Ufa public unites music and the popular sand art equipment (drawing by sand on the flat glass surface lit from below). While Elvira Hayrutdinova together with the musical instrument gives rise to Bach and Mozart's familiar works, in the online mode Ekaterina Korol paints the sand pictures illustrating musical compositions.

Such decorating of pictures is a unique synthesis of graphics and a light art. From the first sound of musical composition, from the first gesture of the artist magic is created: it is difficult to imagine that you can see whole story from only sand and literally two-three strokes.

So to the audience have been presented love stories, images of mother and the child, the storming ocean and the ship, music, space and the Universe. Each story was replaced by one easy movement of a hand of the artist.

Audience not only visually acquainted with the sand art equipment, but also have briefly told story of its emergence.

For reference we will note that the inventor of sand animation - the Canadian-American director-animator Karolyn Lif. In 1969 she has shown to public a sand plot "Sand, or Peter and the Wolf". Sand animation has come to Russia not so long ago and at once has gained popularity. Extreme concentration, accuracy of each movement, high speed of execution of drawings is necessary for the artist who acts for the audience "alive": he has to be the talented conjurer, all his actions are broadcast on the screen, and he has to manage "to finish the story" while music sounds.

It is necessary to tell that Husain Akhmetov Bashkir state philharmonic already had a successful experience of similar projects: in 2014 Ufa residents became witnesses of three concerts with participation of the master of sand art Khalil Valeev at once. The philharmonic hall promises the audience to hold in the 78th concert season a similar event every month.
