At the III International festival of national and ethnic cinema "Silver Akbuzat" 22 countries will take part in Ufa.

Reception of movies for participation in the program of the III International festival of national and ethnic cinema "Silver Akbuzat" is complete, which is held on a grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on support of the most significant creative projects in the field of the theatrical, musical, choreographic, fine arts and cinematography.

As it is reported on the official site of a festival, 254 movies from 22 countries, among them Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Nepal, Mexico, the USA, Armenia, Syria, France, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Nepal, Armenia, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Mongolia and others have come to the selection commission.

Let's remind that it is already the third film festival. The first passed at the end of November, 2014, the second festival has taken place at the beginning of December, 2015. This year the Silver Akbuzat festival will take place from October 26 to October 28.

In the competition final part the international jury of a festival will award to participants the Grand Prix and prizes in each nomination: "Fiction feature films", "Fiction short films" and "Documentaries". Also special prizes will be awarded.

Let's note that founders of a festival are the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Film studio Bashkortostan with assistance of Administration of Ufa.
