Vera Tariverdiyeva: "Mikael Tariverdiev lived and felt the music, it was his talent"
1st November, in SCH "Bashkortostan" was a theatrical concert "The Last Romantic", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Tariverdiev.
This concert is a unique event, combining a variety of art forms - music, theater, performance and video installation. Celebration of music is possible due to the National Symphony Orchestra, leading the team of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The concert has become even more interesting because of the presence on it of special guest - Vera Tariverdiyeva – known musicologist, the composer's widow. The director of the concert - a graduate of GITIS, theater director of Alexei Rybnikov theater, our countryman - Radmir Shaikhutdinov, conductor - Kamil Abdullin, lead - Alexander Kuzmenko, soloist - Lily Piven (soprano), soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic, Teatro Verdi (Pisa), Teatro di Lucca (Lucca), Teatro Goldoni (Livorno).
The project "The Last Romantic" - part of a major international festival "Remember this moment", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the master. Its geography includes not only Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, but also London, New York, Hamburg and others. The name "The last romantic" is not accidental: Mikael Leonovich rightly dubbed the last romantic of the past, whose music has retained its relevance to this day. His legacy - these are songs, operas and ballets, chamber vocal cycles, symphonies and instrumental concertos, music for 132 films. That is the songs to the films (in particular of the legendary and beloved paintings "Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath", "Seventeen Moments of Spring", "Olga", "King deer"), as well as monoopera "Waiting" sounded in the current program . Magic video projected on the screen and the wall of the hall, autumn leaves on the stage - all this brings the viewer into the world of Tariverdiyev.
The guest of the evening Tariverdiyeva Vera - musicologist, the president of the Tariverdiev Foundation, author of "The Biography of Music" (the life and work Tariverdiev), Art Director of the International Organ Competition Michael Tariverdiev, a few hours before the concert, took the time to talk with the journalists . Vera Gorislavovna talked about getting acquainted with Mikael Leonovich "From Ufa I am bound warm emotions and long-term friendship with Leila Ismagilova, with whom we met in October 1983 in Vilnius at the Festival of Contemporary Music, which hosted Rodion Shchedrin. With Leila we lived in one room of the hotel "Lietuva". And she was a witness to the beginning of our love affair with Mikael Leonovich. I love and respect her as an artist, unfortunately, now we rarely see each other" – shared the celebrity guests. By the way, old friends sat together during the concert, and it was nice to see cordial relations between them. She also stressed that she already liked Ufa, "I want to note that from the first moment where I felt the best organization. I am delighted with the order and the approach to the organization of the process, and thanks for the intelligent communication".
