On October 18, a memorial plaque was installed on the facade of a residential building in Ufa in memory of the Soviet singer, Honored Artist of the BASSR, holder of the Order of Salavat Yulaev Gumer Abdulmanov. He lived in this house number 32/1 on Richard Sorge Street, from 1986 to 2020.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic Almaz Saetov, Chairman of the Union of Composers of Bashkortostan Leyla Ismagilova, colleagues, relatives and friends of the singer.

Gumer Abdulmanov was born on December 15, 1929 in the village of Chukrakly, Chishminsky district of the republic. Graduated from the Bashkir Theater and Art School. He worked in the Committee on Radio Broadcasting and Television under the Council of Ministers of the BASSR, the Ministry of Culture of the BASSR. He taught at the Bashkir Republican Cultural and Educational School in Sterlitamak. He also worked as a soloist of the Bashkir Philharmonic. In 1969-1992 - Director of the Bashkir branch of the Musical Fund of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation.

Gumer Abdulmanov passed away on October 30, 2020. The performing style of Gumer Mugalyamovich was distinguished by simplicity and sincerity. His repertoire included Bashkir folk songs such as "Ғaysa-akhun", "Salimәkәy", "Sibay", "Ural", vocal compositions by Khusain Akhmetov, Zagir Ismagilov, Tagir Karimov, Rauf Murtazin, Rosa Sakhautdinova. He was the first performer of lyrical songs by Rim Khasanov, Talgat Sharipov and other authors.

For many years of fruitful creative activity and a great contribution to the development of Bashkir culture and art, Gumer Mugalyamovich was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the BASSR in 1989, and the Order of Salavat Yulaev in 2020.
