On February 16, the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan hosted an online discussion "Museums - Cultural Heritage Centers of Bashkortostan", dedicated to the opening of the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia and the Year of Bashkir Culture and Spiritual Heritage.

More than 70 representatives of state and municipal museums from all over Bashkortostan took part in the event. Speakers from twelve museums presented their projects prepared as part of the upcoming Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia and the Year of Bashkir Culture and Spiritual Heritage, as well as cultural initiatives of museums to promote the heritage of the peoples of Bashkortostan at exhibitions and events scheduled for 2022.

The panel discussion served as an exchange of experience between museums, demonstrated the achievements of museums in working with cultural heritage and attracting visitors, including teenagers and youth on the "Pushkin card". The organizers hope that the subsequent inter-museum seminars and panel discussions will become centers of attraction for the museum community of the republic in 2022.
