On February 25, Elona Korzhevich, the leading soloist of the Donbass Opera, will perform for the first time at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre. She will perform the part of Marfa in the opera “The Tsar's Bride”.
Elona Korzhevich is a laureate of international competitions. In 1997 she graduated from the Lugansk Higher School of Music (Department of Choral Conducting). In 2002 E. Korzhevich graduated the Donetsk State Musical Academy named after. S. S. Prokofiev (Department of Choral Conducting), and in 2005 - the Department of Academic Singing.
From 2004 to 2015 she was a soloist of the Donetsk State Academic Philharmonic. Since 2013 she has been a guest soloist of the Antonin Dvorzhak Theater (Ostrava, Czech Republic). Since 2015 she has been a soloist of the A. B. Solovyanenko Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (Donbass Opera).
Her operatic repertoire includes Violetta Valeri ("La Traviata"), Amelia ("Un ballo in maschera") and Gilda ("Rigoletto") - in Verdi's operas; Donna Anna ("Don Juan") and the Queen of the Night ("The Magic Flute") - in Mozart's operas; title role (Donizetti's “Anna Boleyn”), Micaela (Bizet's “Carmen”), Mimi (Puccini's “La Boheme”), Rosalind (“The Bat” by I. Strauss), Violetta (Kalment's “Violet of Montmartre”), Marfa (“The Tsar’s Bride” by Rimsky-Korsakov), Tatyana (“Eugene Onegin”), Lisa (“The Queen of Spades”) and the title role (“Iolanta”) in Tchaikovsky's operas.
