The F.Gaskarov Academic Folk Dance Ensemble presented a concert to the Ufa audience at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater. Radiy Khabirov and his wife attended the concert.
The "World Nations Dances" program, shown to the Ufa audience, was awarded the title of "Ambassador of Peace" by UNESCO and the gold medal "Five Continents" in Paris. The artists performed the classics of Bashkir choreography — the famous dances "Zarifa", "Three Brothers", "Seven Girls," staged by Faizi Gaskarov.
The audience also saw new performances — the choreographic composition "Rus" by Alexei Shishkin. This premiere of 2019 has already received many rave reviews and good audience response.
That night, the Faizi Gaskarov Ensemble premieres, prepared for the 81st creative season, were also presented. One of them was "Adygskie Udzhi" staged by the art director and chief ballet master of "Nalmes" Aslan Khadzhaev.
The stage of the Aksakov People's House (Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater) has always served as a place for bold creative experiments and preserved the traditions of Bashkir art. Within these walls, the founder of Bashkir choreography, Faizi Gaskarov, realized his idea, having written a libretto for the first Bashkir ballet, "Crane Song", which later inspired Rudolf Nureyev to his creative exploits.
