The famous opera singer, the People's artist of Bashkortostan, the soloist of the Mariinsky theater Askar Abdrazakov was honored with the Salavat Yulaev national award for professionalism and his great contribution in art and culture.

Askar Abdrazakov, the famous opera singer, was born in the family of bashkir film-director Amir Abdrazakov. He graduated from the Ufa Institute of Arts in the class of Professor M. Murtazina and studied post-graduade course in of the Moscow Conservatory in the class of the People's Artist of the USSR, Professor I.Arkhipova. He was also awarded the Gold Medal and Prize nominal Irina Arkhipova Foundation "for outstanding achievement in the performing arts in the last decade of XX century".

He became the adviser of the Head of Bashkortostan on culture and art issues this March. Also he initiated a children supporting project not so long ago.
