On March 17, the birthday of the great dancer Rudolf Nureyev, the opening of the Nureyev Days project will take place in Ufa. Traditionally this honor goes to the Bashkir Choreographic College, which has been named after this legendary artist for more than 30 years. 

The Nureyev’s Days will begin with the one-act ballet “How to Become a Ballerina”, which will open the veil of secrecy about what stages each student who dreams of becoming a great artist goes through.

The second section of the concert will feature a gala concert with the best performances of classical, folk and modern choreography. On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the college prepared the fervent "Soldier's Dance" and the dramatic "Death Tango" performance.

At the end of the concert department, students will perform the production of the choreographer from St. Petersburg Alexander Polubentsev “In honor of the dance”. This number will be performed in memory to our great countryman Rudolf Nureyev.

The event will be held at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet theatre. It begins on 19:00.
