December 14, the day of the 80th anniversary of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, a solemn award ceremony was held in the Greek Hall for the creative team and employees of the theater. The Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic Shamil Abdrakov arrived to congratulate the team.

He presented the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan “For many years of conscientious work in the field of culture of the Republic of Belarus” to artists of the choir, ballet, theater soloists, and orchestra artists.

The Chairman of the Republican Organization of the Russian Trade Union of Cultural Workers, People’s Artist of Bashkortostan Alexander Kuzmenko also came to congratulate the theater on the anniversary.

The theater receives numerous telegrams of congratulations. Including the theater congratulated the Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky. The telegram specifically states:

Tonight, the 80th anniversary of the theater will host the performance of the opera Salavat Yulaev by composer Z. Ismagilov.

The opera “Salavat Yulaev” is a bright event in the history of Bashkir opera art.
