From November 3 to November 8, 2022, the annual International Educational Action "Great Ethnographic Dictation" will be held. The action will be held online on the eve of the Day of National Unity.

The organizer of the Dictation is the Federal Agency for Nationalities.

The purpose of the VII International Educational Action is to draw people's attention to the history, culture and traditions of the peoples inhabiting the country. This knowledge helps to strengthen harmony, interethnic peace and national unity of the peoples of the Russian Federation, and also raises the level of ethnographic literacy of the population.

Every year, millions of residents of Russia and foreign countries become participants in the Action, regardless of age, education, religion and citizenship.

The working languages ​​of the Dictation are Russian, English, Spanish.

Tasks for participants under 16 years of age consist of 20 federal questions. For participants over 16 there are out of 30 questions:

- 20 questions - the federal part of the dictation, the same for all participants;

- 10 questions - the regional part of the dictation, unique for each subject of the Russian Federation.

Assignments will be published on November 3 on the official website of the Great Ethnographic Dictation miretno.ru.

The maximum amount of points for completing all tasks is 100. The passage time is 45 minutes.

A certificate of participation indicating the results is generated immediately after passing in electronic form.

This year, the participants still have the opportunity to immediately find out the correct answer and get a historical background with links to sources.
