Two projects from Bashkortostan are participating in the federal competition for the creation of tourist and recreational clusters and the development of ecotourism in Russia, applying for a grant and professional support from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

The primary purpose of creating such clusters is to streamline the flow of tourists, make it organized and manageable. Our republic has submitted the projects "Mighty Iremel", which includes the territory of the "Iremel" Natural Park and the state nature reserve "Ural-Tau", as well as "Heart of Bashkiria". It includes the regional natural park "Zilim", the federal national park "Bashkiria", Mount Tratau, Tolparovskie spruce forests, the Kinderlinskaya-Ledneva-Oktyabrskaya cave system, Tugar-Salgan Lake, the Askynskaya Ice Cave. The popular vote for the clusters started on July 13 and will last until July 23.
