On November 25, 26 and 27, the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater will host the premiere of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's opera Sadko. This production promises to be the largest and most spectacular event of the new season.

Both directors are familiar to the Ufa audience and new to Bashopera are working on a new performance. So, the chief conductor of the Moscow Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, People's Artist of Russia Felix Korobov, it is his first experience of working with Ufa artists. Stage director is Honored Artist of Russia Askar Abdrazakov, production designer is Honored Artist of Bashkortostan Ivan Skladchikov.

The opera "Sadko" has never before been performed on the Bashopera stage. For the first time, Felix Korobov also works with this semi-fairy epic story.

It should be noted that "Sadko" will be the third performance over the past few years, which will be shown on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. It will take place on March 2 and 3 next year.
