Two Bashkortostan theaters will take part in 27th Pushkin Theater Festival

Two theaters of Bashkortostan became participants of the 27th Pushkin Theater Festival. The Pushkin Theater Festival will be held online. From May 20 to June 8, video broadcasts of 22 performances will be shown.

The play "Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes" at the M. Gafuri Bashkir Academic Drama Theater (Guzel Yakhina, a staging by Yaroslava Pulinovich, director Ayrat Abushakhmanov)  will be shown on May 24 at 7.00 pm and on May 25 at 1.00 pm and on June 3 at 7.00 pm. The play «Glumov» by Salavat Bashkir Drama Theater "For Every Sage Is Quite Simplicity" (Alexander Ostrovsky, directed by Anton Fedorov) will be shown on June 4 at 1.00 pm.

27th Pushkin Theater Festival will open on May 20. It takes place annually in Pskov and collects performances based on the works of Pushkin and other Russian classics on its site.

The geography of the festival is extensive: Israel, Lithuania, Finland, Estonia, St. Petersburg, Buryatia, Karelia, Komi-Permyak Autonomous Okrug, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Kemerovo, Omsk, Saratov, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, and Pskov Regions.

In autumn, festival organizers plan to hold a festival in a real format at the Pskov Drama Theater.

 

“The cultural world” web portal is the only media to tell about Bashkir culture. It also highlights the achievements of famous people in the republic, tells about young artists.
