The premiere of the epic opera Sadko was presented on the stage of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre on the 25th of November. An opera troupe, a ballet, a choir, a children's choir studio, and a symphony orchestra are involved in the largest production in the history of the theater.

The following people worked on the creation of the epic opera "Sadko": director-producer is Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Askar Abdrazakov; conductor-producer is People's Artist of the Russian Federation,the chief conductor of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Felix Korobov; production designer is Honored Artist of the RB Ivan Skladchikov; choirmaster, conductor is Honored Artist of the RB Alexander Alekseev; choreographer is Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation Irina Filippova; choreographer of the picture of the underwater kingdom is People's Artist of the USSR Margarita Drozdova; lighting designer is Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Irina Vtornikova; designer is Ernst Ramm.

That evening the part of Sadko was performed by Igor Morozov, laureate of international and all-Russian competitions, soloist of the Helikon Opera Theatre. The image of Volkhova was embodied on stage by People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alfiya Karimova, Lyubava, Sadko's wife, was presented to the audience by Honored Artist of the RB Lyubov Butorina.

The performance team used maximum resources. The result of the painstaking work of the entire creative team was duly appreciated by the public. The new opera has become one of the best productions in Bashopera's repertoire.
