As is known, from June 12 to June 16, the largest International Arts Festival "Heart of Eurasia" will be held again in Ufa. We remind you that bands "Ivan Kupala", "Khartyga" (Republic of Tyva), "TRAD ATTACK" (Estonia), virtuoso instrumentalists Nazbek Kenchinbayev, Nurayym Azykbaeva (Kyrgyzstan) will perform in the framework of "Ethnonochka", which will complete the "Heart of Eurasia" .

The headliner of festival and the whole festival "The Heart of Eurasia" is the project "Ivan Kupala". Musicians became favorites of the Ufa public at the previous forum, spectators with drive drove "multi-layer dances" for incendiary hits.

The project "Ivan Kupala" was born in 1998 thanks to three professional staff of radio stations - Alexey Ivanov, Alexei Rumyantsev and Denis Fedorov. In the autumn of the same year, the first song "Kostroma" was recorded, which in record time became a national hit and brought to the group "Golden Gramophone". "Ivan Kupala" offered the public an unknown until then in Russia synthesis of authentic folklore and current trends of modern electronic music.

The success of the second single "Kolyada" was followed by the release of the debut album "Kostroma". At the end of 1999, the members of the group presented a concert version of the project to the public, in which the singer Elisaveta Garshina, Natalia Kotova and Tatyana Yarchenko, and the musician-folklorist Roman Lomov joined the member of the studio team Alexei Rumyantsev.
In November 2002, the album "Radio Reward" was released. Then "Komsomolskaya Pravda" called "IK" the best group of the year according to the results of a readers poll.
The group has two awards of the national musical award "Ovation" and the title "Best Folk Artist".

The music of "Ivan Kupala" resonates with various age and social groups. Confirmation of this - the successful performances of the band at festivals of rock, folk and electronic music.
