The winners of the "FormART" District Street Art Festival have become known today. During an online broadcast with representatives from all regions of the Volga Federal District, the results were summed up.

The Kirov region became the central platform of the FormART Festival. The studio of the Republic of Bashkortostan was located in the National Museum. The region was represented by a young designer Laysan Bilalova with "The Future Is In Our Hearts". Graffiti was applied to one of the residential buildings in the city of Neftekamsk, the Republican Center for Folk Art reported.

Laysan Bilalova, following the results of the popular vote and the experts' votes, took the lead among 13 participants and won 3rd place with the prize of 100 thousand rubles.

The second place went to the artist from Saratov Vladimir Kuts with his art object "The Face of Time". At the same time, the second place also went to the artist from the Republic of Mari El Ilya Belov. According to the voting results, both graffiti authors scored the same number of points. The first place went to the artist from Samara Dmitry Gorshkov for the project "Future".

Recall that the popular vote was held from October 1 to 15, 2021. It was possible to give only one vote for the best contestant by calling the hotline: 8 (800) 301-50-23. All residents of Russia could take part in the voting.

Two ratings were formed based on the residents' votes for the finalist representing the native region and participants from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The street art "FormART" project is being implemented on the initiative of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov. The festival aims to support the creativity of young artists, creating a modern urban environment and new cultural codes in the regions of the district with the help of graffiti art.

This year, the key theme for the competition works was the theme reflecting the potential of the country's development and new technologies under a single brand, "Look into the Future".

The prize fund of the FormART Festival has been doubled: the winners will receive from 100 to 200 thousand rubles to develop their creativity.
