December 12 at the Bashkir State Academic Drama Theatre of M.Gafuri runs Republican Youth Festival "Descendants of the Ural-Batyr: do not let the evil way forever".

 

The organizers of the event were the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the House of Friendship of Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Assembly of the Peoples of Bashkortostan.

 

Leading the evening was actress from M.Karim National Youth Theatre, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Elmira Samatova and actor of Bashkir Academic Drama Theater Firgat Garipov. They told a brief history of "Ural-Batyr", told the audience of the Bashkir asset kubair: "The most important legacy of the epic "Ural Batyr" in its true sense - it is kindness, friendship, sense of duty and justice," - said the emcee.

 

Bashkortostan is home to over 160 ethnic groups, and in today's concert included songs and dances of different peoples of the world. Participants in the evening performed by Russian, Bashkir, Tatar, Chuvash, Kyrgyz, Mari, Turkmen, Armenian, Uzbek, Kulyab, Caucasian dances and songs.

Guests of the event met with a variety of folk instruments. For example, a musician Azer Alyev played saz (lute-type instrument) Azerbaijani melody and Adlet Gabdreshev played Kazakh dombra.

The concert program was also attended by famous Bashkir ethno-rock band "Argymak" under the direction of Rinat Ramazanov and Bashkir Puppet Theatre, which featured an excerpt from the play "Sesen yyry".

Holiday friendship ended joint dancing in the theater lobby.
