Оrganizers of the IV International Festival of National and Ethnic Cinema "Silver Akbuzat" announces the postponement of the holding of the film festival. A large-scale film forum will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan from 8 to 10 December 2017. Earlier it was planned to hold a film festival on October 12-14.

The IV International Festival of National and Ethnic Cinema "Silver Akbuzat" was conceived by the organizers to popularize the work of filmmakers creating films of national and ethnic origin.

The festival will bring together in Ufa filmmakers, actors and film producers from different regions and countries. Full-length, short and documentary films will be shown. The international jury will award the films, which will award the Grand Prix "Silver Akbuzat" and more than 10 prizes, including the best script, the best director's work, the best camera work, the best hero of the documentary. Also, the owner of the special prize of the jury of the festival and the prize of audience sympathy will be determined. The entrance to the film shows is free.

The founders of the film festival: the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the film studio "Bashkortostan" with the assistance of the Administration of Ufa.
