Everyone knows the lyrics of the song "Winter Romance", the composer of which turns 70 today. Composer Rim Hasanov, whose name is familiar to almost every citizen of the republic, whose music eventually became popular.

Rim Mahmutovich Hasanov is a Soviet composer, honored art worker of the BASSR, a member of the USSR Composers' Union since 1973. Laureate of the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan named of Gabdulla Tukay.

Rim Mahmutovich was born on March 9, 1947 in the village of Yazykovo, Blagovarsky district of the BASSR. After graduating from the Ufa Art College in 1973, he entered the Ufa State Institute of Arts where he studied composition in the class of Zagir Ismagilov.

From 1973 to 1978 he worked as the head of the musical part in the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater.

From 1994 to 1996 he lived in Australia, where he wrote a cycle of more than 30 songs on the poems of Ron Rogers. In 2006, with great success, she gives concerts in Finland.
Recently he lives in Moscow.

In the work of Rim Khasanov his bright melodic talent is shown, the national Bashkir song style finds its development in the classical style with elements of Soviet variety and jazz. Creations of Rim Khasanov became an integral part of modern Bashkir musical art.
