A group from Hungary learns the Bashkir language to perform a Bashkir folk song at the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®, which will be held for the first time in Russia in Bashkortostan from July 3 to 10.
According to the Ministry of Culture of the region, the folk dance collective "Kecskemet" chose the Bashkir folk song "Karabay" for performance.
The Republic of Bashkortostan is preparing to host 48 countries, with a total of almost 2000 participants. The Main Stage "Heart of the Folkloriada" opening in Ufa will take place on July 4. From July 5, some of the groups will go to 22 municipalities of the republic, which are united into four festival districts.
The program of the festival districts includes colorful costume parades, concerts, exhibitions of masters of decorative and applied arts, master classes, the work of various interactive sites, and the holding of national games of different peoples. All venues will be open-air according to a single scenario.
The entrance to the concerts is free, subject to the mask regulations.
