The Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation holds the "Skillful Verb" professional skill contest for journalists and media writing about culture.

The purpose of the competition is to increase the information openness of museums and cultural institutions, strengthen the status and quality of regional cultural journalism, draw attention to the regional centers of the Hermitage and create “centers of attraction” for the press and new partners.
Journalistic materials from 20 cities are accepted for the award: Abakan, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Samara, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ulan-Ude, Ufa , Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk.

Journalistic materials and blog posts or video blogs plots published in print media, broadcast on television and radio, posted on the Internet from June 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 can be provided.
