Ballet of the Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet "Legend of Love" by Arif Melikov became the winner of the IV All-Russian Festival "Volga Theater Seasons" in the nomination "Best Performance in Ballet".

The jury members of the festival are well-known Moscow and St. Petersburg critics appreciated the level of mastery of artists Bashkir ballet and awarded Sophia Gavryushina, Lilia Zainigabdinova, Rustam Iskhakov, Ildar Manyapov with another diploma "For the Ensemble".

The originality of the festival, established by the Government of the Samara Region and the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation in 2007, consists in the fact that it includes all genres of theatrical art and has no analogues on the territory of our country. "Volga Theater Seasons" is held once in two years. Theater groups from Omsk, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Belgorod, Kursk, Sevastopol, St. Petersburg and Moscow fought for the title of the best this year. At the festival, 16 performances were shown, 6 of which were presented by the theaters of the Samara region, 10 - theaters of other regions. The Bashkir theater made a serious competition to the participants.
