People's Artist of Russia and Bashkortostan, the chief ballet master of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater Leonor Kuvatov entered the jury of the 15th anniversary competition of ballet artists "Arabesque" named of Ekaterina Maximova, which will be held in Perm from April 11 to 21, 2018. The artistic director and chairman of the jury is Vladimir Vasilyev.

"ARABESK" is a Russian ballet competition open to foreign participants, first held in 1988. During the existence of the contest more than 900 young ballet dancers and pupils of public and private theaters and educational institutions of Russia and abroad participated in it. Every two years, "Arabesque" gathers young dancers from different countries, representing different choreographic schools and the most actual trends in ballet. This year's competition is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Marius Petipa.
