Today, May 29, a meeting of officials of the VII International Festival of Turkic Theaters Tuganlyk with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova was held.

    “First of all, let me thank you for coming to the Republic of Bashkortostan to the Tuganlyk International Festival of Turkic Theaters. Our festival is a priority project of the Year of the Theater, a significant cultural event and an important political event, in the year of the celebration of three significant events in the republic at once: the 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan, the 100th anniversary of the main dramatic theater of the republic - the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after M.Gafuri, 100 anniversary of the birth of the national poet of Bashkortostan Mustai Karim. I am sure that the festival “Tuganlyk” contributes to the strengthening of inter-ethnic harmony and peace and the mutual enrichment of the theatrical cultures of the Turkic-speaking republics, ”the minister began.

In the 90s, he did not shine with significant productions, and today we see the highly professional level of the theater. In turn, Oleg Khanov thanked the organizers and guests of the festival. “With your arrival, participation in the festival, you made our holiday an even greater treasure of the republic,” he noted.

Niyaz Iglamov emphasized the high organizational level of the festival "Tuganlyk". He expressed gratitude to Amina Shafikova and the Government of Bashkortostan in her face, for holding this kind of Festival of Turkic-speaking theaters. He also shared his wishes about the festival program for the subsequent “Tuganlyki”.

At the end of the meeting, Minister of Culture Amina Shafikova noted the importance and significance of holding the festival "Tuganlyk" and similar meetings.

    “Meeting with you, with groups of national theaters has become for us a bright and spectacular holiday of the performing arts of the republics and countries of the Turkic world. I hope our festival will allow preserving friendship and good neighborly relations based on historical and cultural-linguistic community, ”said the Minister.
