November 3, in the Republic of Bashkortostan museums had an action called "Night of the Arts 2016". The action is devoted to Day of National Unity and held since 2013.

The organizers of the "Night of the Arts 2016" are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the coordinator of the action - National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The "Night of Arts" was attended by more than 90 state and municipal, departmental and private museums and galleries of Bashkortostan. Most museums opened their doors to the public from 18.00 to 24.00 hours. Some museums have worked from morning until late evening. This evening the republic museums was visited by more than 19,800 residents and guests of the republic.

Many museums have joined forces with libraries and houses of culture, professional and amateur artists and creative groups, folk artists and clubs of historical reconstruction. Museums, together with its partners, presented variety programs of original activities for visitors of all ages.

The main goal of the action "Night of the Arts 2016" was to attract visitors in the first place - the young, original shows and extraordinary events, master classes and concerts, to make art and creativity - close to every visitor. With confidence we can say that the goal has been achieved at all!

The slogan of the action of this year is "Time to create", emphasizes the creative nature of every human being. A special role in the upcoming "Night of Art" played master classes in various art forms.

In honor of the Year of Russian cinema in museums and exhibitions held events dedicated to national cinema and animation. Many museums were shown the legendary movies of yesteryear - the masterpieces of Soviet, Russian, Bashkir cinematography, and in the halls sounded ageless favorite songs from films.

Museums of Bashkortostan placed the announcements of its activities in the automated information system "Single Information Space" on the eve of the action. Prospective visitors could get acquainted with the program of activities of museums participating in the portal “Kultura.RF” (http://www.culture.ru) and the official website of the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation (http://mkrf.ru).

The "Night of the Arts 2016" demonstrated the significant potential of the Republic of Bashkortostan museums in the cultural, educational and exposition and exhibition work, the abundance of new forms of cooperation between museums, professional and amateur artists, folk artists, "re-enactors" and, of course, the active visitors of museums. The campaign helped to attract new visitors to the museum and expand the ranks of museum lovers.
