Ufa hosted "Writer of 21st century" Interregional Forum

May 27-28 was a significant event for the chronicle of the Writers' Union of Bashkortostan, which unites about three hundred writers, poets, translators, and playwrights. These days Ufa became the center of attraction for cultural figures of the republic, those who have devoted their lives, all their talent to literary creativity, Bashkortostan Writers' Union told the Bashinform News Agency.

The Interregional Forum "Writer of 21st century", which was held at the "Zelenya Roscha" spa resort, was supported by a grant from the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan aimed at preserving and developing the state languages ​​of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the languages ​​of the peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of the Foundation for Assistance to Civil Society of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Within the forum's framework, it was planned to organize master classes and discussion platforms in different directions: literary criticism, literature for children and youth, publishing, drama. The forum featured speakers from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Makhachkala.

On the first day of the forum, a large literary and musical night hosted the participation of famous performers and creative groups of the republic. In the evening there was a presentation of the filming of "The Poet's Diary" (Bashkortostan film studio). New members of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Bashkortostan received certificates.

The second day of the forum hosted a meeting of the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov with the literary community, discussion platforms, and the ceremony of awarding state awards.

 

“The cultural world” web portal is the only media to tell about Bashkir culture. It also highlights the achievements of famous people in the republic, tells about young artists.
