A festival dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Union of Composers of Bashkortostan is being held in Ufa. On April 14, the festival was officially opened at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater.
The chairman of the board of the Union of Composers of Russia and the Union of Composers of Tatarstan Rashid Kalimullin, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Sakha-Yakutia Tatyana Pavlova-Borisova, and other honored guests came to the holiday. First Deputy Minister of Culture Natalya Lapshina read out greetings from Deputy Prime Minister RB Azat Badranov.
The chairman of the Union of Composers of Bashkortostan Leyla Ismagilova, composers Nur Dautov, Airat Kubagushev, Aisylu Salmanova, Valery Skobelkin, Shaura Sagitova, Galina Ziganova, music experts Svetlana Platonova, Gulnaz Galina, Nelly Akhmetzhanova, Milyausha Idrisova, Leyla Aralbaeva, and others were awarded certificates of honor and letters of appreciation at the event.
The program included works of leading figures of the musical art of the republic performed by the soloists of the opera company Elvira Fatykhova, Lilia Khalikova, Alim Kayumov, Idel Aralbaev, Aigiz Gizatullin, concertmaster of the orchestra Denis Granov, the choir and symphony orchestra of the theater directed by Artem Makarov.
On April 15, the F. Chaliapin Concert Hall hosted a concert of the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Bashkortostan, directed by chief conductor and art director Linar Davletbaev.
On April 16, a chamber music concert will take place at the F. Chaliapin Concert Hall.
The festival became possible thanks to a grant from the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the Foundation for Assistance support to Civil Society RB.
