In Ufa, the results of the Republican contest of ethnic beauty and talent “Miss International Ufa” were summed up. The Grand Prix of the competition and the crown of the winners were awarded to Rano Umurzakova from Tajikistan. The title of first vice-miss was awarded to the Georgian Karina Akhvlediani. The second vice-miss was a native of the Baymak region Narkas Aralbaeva, who represented the Bashkir people.

12 girls took part in the final of the international competition, each of which prepared a business card and a creative number. Girls defiled in national costumes and evening dresses, proved themselves in an intellectual competition.

    “Today we came into contact with the culture of various nations, felt their energy. I am glad that the audience supported our participants with warm words and applause. We hope that this is not the last competition. And may friendship always unite us”, - said Azat Ibrahimov, director of the House of Friendship of the Peoples.

In the musical part of the evening, the Kuraisy group was led by the People’s Artist of RB Robert Yuldashev, the Honored Artist of RB Artur Kaipkulov, the Yatagan ethnogroup, the multi-instrumentalist Zagir Zaynetdinov, and the showman and musician from Madagascar Celestin Julein.

"Miss International Ufa" is a unique project for the republic, the author and leader of which is a student of the Ufa State Institute of Arts. Z. Ismagilova, the winner of the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum "Tavrida" Zemfira Rashitova. It should be noted that more than 60 applications from representatives of 20 nationalities living in the Republic of Bashkortostan were accepted for the competition.
