On September 11 to October 11 there will be held “Traditional Musical Instruments” Online Photography Exhibition by CIOFF® Youth. The exhibition is dedicated to the traditional musical instruments of the people of the world and held by the Republican Center of Folk Arts of the Republic of Bashkortostan in cooperation with the CIOFF® Russian National Section and CIOFF® Youth. Exhibition goals:
• presentation and promotion of traditional musical culture via folk instruments;
• support of music as a universal language of the intercultural communication;
• improvement of international relations regarding folk arts and folklore activity.
• Demonstration of similarities of musical instruments also in visual way but not just with how they sound. The exhibition will be held online on social media and websites of the Polenov State Russian House of Folk Arts, the Republican Center of Folk Arts and the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada. The exhibition introduces pictures and information on the traditional musical instruments which is names and brief history of them. The presentation will be delivered in 5 languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian and Bashkir.
