Bashkir public honored the memory of the national poet of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rami Garipov by visiting his grave at the Muslim cemetery in Ufa on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of his birth.

Rami Garipov brought the new heights of Bashkir poetry and literature and immortalized himself with sincerity. This sincerity also shows his love to the Motherland, to the people, the love to life itself. His poems are lessons of philanthropy, that’s why it is a great pleasure to see such a big audience here today. A lot of people came to honor the memory of Rami Yagafarovich.I’s a great day for us. On behalf of the Government of the Republic and the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Faritovich Khabirov, I can assure you that the republican authorities will continue to pay a great attention to preserving the creation and memory of the poet. We are discussing many projects with Azamat Ramievich and Gulnara Ramievna and I think that this year we will implement them. This is the digitalization of the archive, which will allow researchers to make new research, articles, and reveal many interesting moments from his life and work. Also this year, the Kitap publishing house will release five publications dedicated to Rami Garipov.
