In the public life of the country, museums, as carriers, custodians of material history, culture, character and spirit of the people, today occupy a special place, speaking at the same time communication platforms and cultural and educational centers.

Our republic has a rich museum heritage, where there are more than 1000 museums of various forms of ownership and legal forms, including 95 state and municipal museums. The museums of the republic take an active part in the cultural life of the republic, participating in international, All-Russian and republican museum actions, competitions, grants.

The demand for museums is confirmed by the constant growth of the museum fund and the number of visitors. The museums of the Republic of Bashkortostan annually participate in the exhibition projects of the leading museums of Russia, which contributes to the growth of interest of residents and guests of the republic to the cultural heritage stored in museums.

The increasing popularity of events, promotions, and open doors with every year indicates a spiritual upswing in the population, especially the younger generation. All this is possible thanks to the museum workers of the republic.
