The Head of Bashkortostan made a decree on celebrating the 140th Anniversary of Magit Gafuri on 2020. 

This means that the special organizing committee will design the event plan. 

The name of Magir Gafuri is immortalized in the naming of the district of Bashkortostan, street and park in Ufa, along with the Bashkir State Drama theatre.
