Today the Head of Bashkortostan presented state awards to workers of culture and art of the republic. The ceremony took place on the eve of Cultural Worker Day.
Radiy Khabirov thanked the cultural workers who volunteered during this difficult time and helped people. He recalled that professional skill contests and numerous festivals were held annually in Bashkortostan. Every year 40 cultural workers and 50 rural recreation centers receive state support.
"The Bashkir Opera returned to the Bolshoi Theater stage after a half-century break with its most ambitious production of Attila in its history. We all remember this bright, wonderful event. This year, the National Symphony Orchestra of our republic toured the country's main musical stage — the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Our young singer from Neftekamsk, Yana Gabbasova, won the Voice show on Channel One. Viewers throughout Russia will see the "Taganok Squad " film directed by Ainur Askarov," the Head of the Republic added.
This year, the republic will host anniversary forums dedicated to Sergei Aksakov, Miftakhetdin Akmulla, Nazhib Asanbaev, Sergei Dovlatov. The Albanov Museum of Polar Explorers will open. Radiy Khabirov expressed hope that the holding of the Sabantuy festivals will be resumed. The most memorable event, of course, will be the World Folkloriada.
Radiy Khabirov wished all cultural workers new creative successes, good health, prosperity, peace, and all the best.

At the end of the ceremony, the Head of the Republic once again thanked all cultural workers for their work, noting that even during the pandemic, they performed online concerts, delighted the audience with their creativity. Radiy Khabirov assured that the Bashkortostan government would continue to pay great attention to the sphere of culture.
