Today the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov presented the Salavat Yulaev State Awards. This year the laureates were: film director Bulat Yusupov and associate professor of the Ufa State Institute of Arts Gulsyak Salamatova for the full-length feature film "The First Republic"; chief director of the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater Airat Abushakhmanov and lead artist of the theater Albert Nesterov for the performances "Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes" based on the novel by Guzel Yakhina and "Dark-Faced" based on the story by Mazhit Gafuri; artist Khatip Fazylov for the works of art "The Image of the Motherland — Traditions and Spirituality".

The Head of the Republic noted that he watched the film "The First Republic" with pleasure and liked it.

"I recommend everyone to watch it if you have not seen this film yet," said Radiy Khabirov and congratulated all the prize winners on the upcoming holiday - Republic Day.
