On the first Monday of March theatrical cashiers celebrate a professional holiday. In 2009 Saint Petersburg State budget cultural institution "Alms-house komedianta" which is in Saint Petersburg, suggested to celebrate a new professional holiday — Day of the theatrical cashier. This initiative was supported by heads of other theaters. Since then this day celebrate representatives of a profession with which the theater begins. Much attention to this holiday pay at the theater which has become his founder — in Saint Petersburg State budget cultural institution "Alms-house komedianta".
