Today, on May 5, 2017, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan celebrates its 25th anniversary!

The symphonic collective was created in Ufa in 1992 on the basis of talented graduates of musical universities of Ufa, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kazan.

In 1996, the orchestra received the status of a state institution of culture and art.

Over the years, the collective has changed its names - from the orchestra of the Shark TV and Radio Company to the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan, from the Palace of Culture of the All-Russian Society of the Blind, the concert hall of the Ufa Art College to the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan", where the NSO is now based.

Today for the season the orchestra gives about a hundred concerts. It takes more than one rehearsal to prepare one program. In different years, the NSO RB was led by talented musicians. Since January 2015 Raushan Yakupov has been appointed chief conductor of the team.

"Skill grows, traditions develop, years go by, but the National Security Service of the Republic of Belarus still retains its youth," the press service of the Bashkortostan Symphony Orchestra says.

Recall that in honor of his jubilee, the National Symphony Orchestra presented the International Music Festival to Ufa residents and guests of the republic. Within the framework of the festival three concerts were already held: on April 12, an outstanding pianist of the present Boris Berezovsky performed with the orchestra. April 23 was the performance of the Russian cellist Gleb Stepanov, who conquered the audience with his talent and sound of the exclusive cello of the XVIII century, the Italian master Marco Novello. On April 27 the third concert of the International Music Festival took place, where the brilliant Moscow violinist Nikita Borisoglebsky performed a concert on the unique violin of the Venetian master of the XVIII century Matteo Goffriller. May 11, 2017 in the Great Hall of the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" will be the fourth final concert and the closing of the International Music Festival.
