Four festival districts received participants of VI CIOFF®️ World Folkloriada

The VI CIOFF®️ World Folkloriada continues in Bashkortostan. Today, concert programs were held at the venues of four municipalities of the republic. Spectacular concerts with the participation of foreign artists were held in Salavat, Abzelilovsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Mishkinsky Districts. The audience witnessed interesting and vivid performances presented by such countries as Austria, Bolivia, Slovakia, Greece, Mexico, Indonesia, Russia, Palestine, France, Belarus, Peru, etc.

Creative collectives of the republic also took part in the concert program. Natalia Lapshina, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, greeted the participants and guests in Salavat and read out a welcome address on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. It says: "This year Bashkortostan is taking the baton of holding this largest international festival of traditional culture on the planet, which is being held for the first time in Russia. Our republic is located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, is widely known for the centuries-old friendship of peoples, a colorful mosaic of unique traditions. For our republic, the absolute priority is the careful safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage, folklore originality, support for the creativity of talented performers and collectives."

Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ranis Altynbayev visited the Folkloriada in Abzelilovsky District. Guldar Khamitova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, welcomed the participants and spectators in Dyurtyulinsky District. "I was waiting for the World Folkloriada last year. Even the calendar noted what date it will start, but, unfortunately, the pandemic did not allow the holiday to be held last year. The impressions from the Folkloriada are excellent and joyful. The day before yesterday, we watched the opening ceremony on TV, yesterday -how the participants led a round dancein the Amphitheater. This holiday is necessary for people to live together, in friendship and love, it unites them, " said Sergey Menshikov, a native of Salavat. Tomorrow, the festival movement will move to the cities of Sterlitamak, Ufa, Nurimanovsky, Karaidelsky, Yanaulsky, Burzyansky Districts.

There are three main requirements for all the Folkloriada venues: mandatory thermometry, hand disinfection and wearing a mask. All events are held in the open-air format.
