September 14, in GСH Bashkortostan, was the opening of the International festival, called "Vladimir Spivakov Invites" which already has managed to become a part of cultural life in many cities of Russia and the abroad.
The festival has opened the unique project under the name "Hour of Chaplin" - it is the multimedia performance which has united in itself a symphony concert and silent black-and-white cinema. Today the audience has plunged into the atmosphere of the 30th years of the last century, especially, into the atmosphere of the film of 1931 "City of lights" shot by talented and unique Charles Chaplin. The national philharmonic orchestra of Russia has completely reproduced the soundtrack to the movie written also, Chaplin. It is remarkable that the picture wins first place in the list among 10 best romantic comedies according to the American institute of motion picture art, and in 1991 the tape has been included in the National register of movies of the USA.
Concert was held with the participation of National philharmonic orchestra of Russia, and as a conductor – Vladimir Spivakov himself. By the way, the festival will organize the International charity foundation of Vladimir Spivakov in the Republic of Bashkortostan with assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Administration of CD Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the world famous Maestro Spivakov.
For the first time the International festival "Vladimir Spivakov Invites …" was held in the capital of Bashkiria in September of last year where the maestro, to the native of Ufa, has given the rank of the Honourable citizen.
The next two concert days will pass with participation of musicians already famous to Ufa residents: the cellist Rustem Hamidullin and the winner of the International competition of violinists of Daniel Lozakovich (Sweden) which took place this year in Ufa. Together with our fellow countryman Rustem Hamidullin on a stage will play the 15-year-old Russian pianist Alexander Malofeyev who is a winner of many known international competitions, in particular, the winner of the International junior competition of P. I. Tchaikovsky and the owner of the Grand Prix of the I International competition of young pianists of "Grand Piano Competition". Also there will be Vasily Ladyuk – an outstanding baritone, the soloist of the Moscow Theater "New Opera" who already repeatedly appeared on stage of the main concert hall of Bashkortostan.
