The premiere day of the role of Carmen, Larisa Andreeva, a guest artist from the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre performed, and the role of Don Jose played guest soloist of the Ekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilham Valiyev.
This is not the first production of "Carmen" performed by BGTOaB on stage, but it sounds in French the original language, for the first time. Production was accompanied by captions with translation into Russian.
Invited producer-director Dmitry Belyanushkin (Stanislavsky and Vl. Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theater, the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia) and his team, which included artist and stage designer Alexander Arefiev (Moscow), artist costume designer Mary Chernysheva (Moscow), lighting designer Andrei Abramov (Moscow), choreographer Ramune Hodorkayte (Moscow), the artist - designer Radik Safin, choirmaster Alfia Belogonova, choirmaster of the children's opera studio Lubov' Lipatova and the musical director, conductor and director Artyom Makarov, they are all decided to see for a long time well-known novel of P.Merime on their angle, to appreciate and feel the internal energy, the world of the main character of Carmen.
