The performance “On the Kisel coast” by director Almas Amirov at the Kolyada-Plays festival was recognized as the “Best Performance of a Big Form” at the Kolyada-Plays festival.

From November 5 to November 15, 2018, the International Theater Festival of Contemporary Drama “Kolyada-Plays” took place in Yekaterinburg, where theaters from 26 cities in Russia and abroad presented the most interesting performances of contemporary Russian plays. On November 10, at the Nutcracker Ballet Theater, the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after M. Ghafuri played the play “On the Ferry Beach” based on the play by Angiza Ishbuldina.

At the festival “Kolyada-Plays”, the Bashkir theater takes part for the third time: in 2016 with the play “Zhanna. Next will be a new day” based on the play by J. Pulinovich (director A. Abushakhmanov), then Actor Ruslan Khaisarov won the nomination “For the Best male role "(for the role of Albert). Also in 2017 at the XI International Theater Festival of Modern Drama "KOLYADA-PLAYS" director Ilsur Kazakbayev with the play "Meet the Dream" won one of the main prizes in the nomination "For Best Director".
