The competition is held for solo performers in the nominations "Academic singing" and "Pop singing".

Competitive auditions are held publicly in 2 rounds. The order of participation in the competition is determined by the organizing committee. Contestants can participate in two categories.

The winners of the second stage of the competition are awarded the title of laureate of the Republican competition with the award of a diploma.
