The results of the first round of the Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition are announced. In the second round of the competition passed following participants: Anna Milman, Maria Duenas, Youjin Kim, Azat Nurgayanov, Issei Kurihara, Fedor Beznosikov and Stepan Starikov.

The first round was held today in the Small Hall of "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall. Three participants who did not pass in the second round will receive special prizes in the gala concert, September 21: Dennis Gasanov, Sophi Rochlin and Asiya Garipova.

"The contest has just begun; it's nice that we can already trace a high level, so we are very interested in listening. All participants in the beginning play the same piece by JS Bach (prelude from partita for solo violin No.3 in E major), so it's easier for us to compare the performance of each musician. I hope that we will not miss the talent", - said the member of the jury Boris Kushnir.
