On April 26, the Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater, performed in Ufa for the first time within the framework of the federal project “Big Tours”. The tour opened with the opera “The Condemnation of Faust”.

The Astrakhan production became the Russian premiere and was nominated for the prestigious Golden Mask theater award in 2017. A bright, exciting performance was created by conductor Valery Voronin and director Konstantin Balakin.

The opera was performed under the button of Valery Voronin himself. The production uses modern equipment, which allows to create a grandiose effect of 3D. The audience plunged either into the boundless outer space, or into the hellish abyss, where Faust was condemned to go.

On April 28 and 29, Astrakhan theater will present the premiere of the current season - the ballet "La Sylphide".
