Boris Samosyuk is a painter, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan (2010), member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation since 1993, participant of the republican, regional, interregional, all-Russian, international and foreign exhibitions.

The artist works in the following techniques: painting, graphics (etching: drypoint, etched stroke, lavis; engraving on plastic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media), decorative sculpture.

The works of Boris Samosyuk are at the State Art Museum named after M. V. Nesterov, the Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), at the Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts (Rostov-on-Don), at the Irbit State Museum of Fine Arts (Sverdlovsk Region), the Yekaterinburg State Museum of Fine Arts, at the Chelyabinsk Regional Art Gallery, in art galleries in Yekaterinburg, Magnitogorsk, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Maastricht (Holland), in private and gallery collections in Russia, Ukraine, France, Israel, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, England, Canada, and in addition, in the Museum of Modern Art in Baine (France), at the Belgrade Art Gallery "Progress" (Yugoslavia), at the Library of the University of Rijeka (Croatia).
