In Bashkortostan, the zonal stage of the open republican competition "Ulgolo bashkort ғailәһe" ("Exemplary Bashkir family") is taking place. The names of the finalists will be announced at the end of February. The winners will be announced on the Day of the Bashkir Family - March 1 in the city of Sterlitamak. The final of the competition will be broadcast live on the BST TV channel.

The winners are revealed in three nominations - "Family Values", "Family Craft" and "Family Creativity", and the Grand Prix is ​​also awarded.

The 2022 Grand Prix winners, the Khusnullin family from the Kugarchinsky district, note that winning the competition gave them an incentive to develop family craft. Note that the head of the family is engaged in the manufacture of national instruments - kurai, dombra.

According to the organizers, the number of participants in the competition, which is being held for the third time this year, is growing noticeably, and its geography is also expanding.

The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the International Union of Public Associations "The World Kurultai (Congress) of the Bashkirs".
