The day before, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “The Significance of Special Libraries in the Cultural Image of the Regions” opened in Yakutsk, timed to coincide with the 55th anniversary of the formation of a library for the blind in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Aigul Amineva, director of the Bashkir Republican Special Library for the Blind named after M.Kh. Tukhvatshina takes part in the conference.
Director of the Bashkir Republican Special Library for the Blind named after M.Kh. Tukhvatshina Aigul Amineva spoke at the plenary session of the conference. In her report “Revival and preservation of the spiritual values of the Bashkir people in a special library”, she noted the need for cooperation between regions to exchange experience in the revival of folk traditions, crafts, spiritual and national wealth for their accessibility to all segments of the population, including the blind, and for transfer to other generations.
Six heads and librarians of special libraries from Moscow, Ufa, Kazan, Vladivostok, Chita, Yakutia take part in the conference. A total of 70 participants are registered, many experts will take part in the conference online.
