The Kulagin family (participants of the Kalinushka Family Folk Ensemble of the Birsk City Palace of Culture) is the winners of the television project “Singing in the Kitchen with the Whole Country”. The competition show started on Channel One in October 2022. Its main idea is soulfulness, saving traditions of table family singing and ethnic diversity of our country. Amateur groups fought for the main prize. The final of the project took place on January 15, 2023.

The Kulagins are from the village of Kalinniki, Birsky District. The team consists of four generations of artists (91-year-old grandmother Valentina Petrovna Kulagina, her three daughters, two granddaughters and a great-granddaughter).

The Solyakov family from the Ryazan region also took the prize. In the final competition, the families performed the famous songs “The reeds rustled” and “Oh, you, wide steppe.” At the end of the program, all participants performed "Oh, frost, frost", the main drinking song chosen by the viewers.
