On June 28 the first test screening of a new full-length documentary film “Rudolf Nureyev. Alien Island." took place at the Bashkir State Art Museum named after M.V. Nesterov, within the framework of the Nureyev Seasons project.

"Rudolf Nureyev. An alien island (scriptwriter and director Tatiana Malova) is a film about the life and work of the great dancer in Italy, in a country that the most famous Ufa man in the world loved and appreciated. He owned the small Lee Galli archipelago, where he spent the last two years of his life and dreamed of creating a choreographic school for young talents from all over the world.

The film is just starting to participate in festivals and has already been selected for the competition program of the Moscow International Film Festival. The film will be released in 2023, the year of Rudolf Nureyev's 85th birthday.
