Yesterday the Republican holiday of the spring equinox "Navruz" was celebrated in Ufa. The main events were held on the territory of the EvrAsia agricultural park. Representatives of different nations spoke about their traditions of celebrating this day. The audience made a kind of journey to the countries and regions where Navruz is celebrated. Bashkirs, Tatars, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Turkmens, Azerbaijanis, Dagestanis, Kazakhs demonstrated their national culture and customs. Yards-yurts are located on the area of ​​the agricultural park. Near each courtyard there are tables with dishes of national cuisine. Visitors and participants were treated by a festive pilaf.

The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the administration of the Leninsky district of Ufa, the Assembly of Peoples of the Republic, the House of Friendship of Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the republican national-cultural public associations.
